Welcome!

Hello Fingertrap fans! Welcome to the new website. As you can see it's had a bit of an overhaul but the theme is much the same.  I have added a new game (see here) and improved the news and gigs sections to make them clearer. Also this home page will automatically display upcoming gigs and the review of the last gig for about a month - yes that's right - automatically, wow isn't technology great?!

Although it may appear that we have just been sitting around this summer sunning ourselves and getting fat on our past successes it is not true! We've not had any gigs for several months, but we are working (and playing) hard. We have been working on a press pack to get us more high profile gigs and creating this required a photo shoot and recording work (watch out for some or all of this appearing on the website soon).  We are also trying to get our back catalogue of music recorded and organised into albums (maybe there is a use your illusions I+II thing coming up here ... or should that be use your traps? ... or use your fingers!? ... hmm.  Decisions, decisions ... ).

26th October 2006

Although things are a little quiet on the gigging front we are very much still a band! Today we've registered fingertrap with bandnames.com - apparently there is another fingertrap in birmingham :O(

23rd May 2006

I've done some tweaking on the site and all gigs should now show the price ... I'm looking to get the day of the month added too since many of our fans don't seem to like week nights! I've also entered the  recent spate of acoustic trap gigs and the upcoming one at the shed that has been confirmed for sometime but not on the site ooops.

27th April 2006

O'neils battle of the bands result ... unfortunately we didn't win :O( We are currently the highest scoring runners up tho and if we'd played in the first heat our score would have meant we'd have won! Oh well we might get through on a wildcard place.
